What does a videographer actually cost?
It is the first question almost everybody asks, and most videography sites answer it with "it depends" and a contact form. That is not an answer, it is a way of avoiding one.
Here is the real answer: there is no single number, but there are six things that decide it, and once you know them you can estimate your own project before you speak to anybody.
The one that matters most: how many videos
Almost everyone assumes the price scales with the length of the final video. It does not. It scales with how many separate things the shoot has to produce.
The cost of a shoot is mostly setup — the travel, the lighting, the time getting a room or a kitchen ready, the hour before anyone presses record. That cost is identical whether you leave with one clip or ten. So the second video off a shoot day costs a fraction of the first, and the tenth costs almost nothing.
This is why a business buying one expensive film usually gets worse value than the same business buying an afternoon and leaving with eight pieces. Same money, very different outcome.
The other five
Editing depth — a straight cut with trending audio is not the same job as colour grading, motion graphics and subtitles in two languages
Locations — one venue is cheaper than two, and two on the same day is cheaper than two on separate days
Gear on the day — drone, teleprompter or a second lighting setup each add preparation time, not just equipment
Speed — a 24 to 48 hour turnaround means pushing other work aside, and that is what you are paying for
Usage rights — a video that will run as a paid ad on Meta or Google carries more commercial value than one that lives on your own page, and is quoted differently
Where the money actually goes
People picture the price as payment for the hours they watched being filmed. It is not close.
A three-hour shoot usually means an hour of planning and prep, three hours filming, six to eight hours editing and grading, and an hour of revisions. The afternoon you saw is roughly a quarter of the work.
That is why video is priced per project rather than per hour — the hours you see are not the hours being paid for.
How to get an accurate number fast
How many videos you need, and where they will be posted — Instagram, a paid ad, YouTube, a listing page
Where the shoot happens — your place, more than one site, or somewhere that needs permission
When you need it delivered
Three pieces of information are enough for a precise quote, and without them any figure anyone gives you is a guess:
What we will tell you honestly
If your budget suits three reels rather than a brand film, we will say so, because three reels will do more for a local business than one film that gets posted once.
If a project genuinely needs a crew and a producer, we will tell you that too, and point you at someone who works that way. One person with good gear covers a great deal, but not everything, and finding that out mid-project costs you more than hearing it now.

WHERE THE WORK LIVES
Most of what we shoot never appears on our own feed.
We shoot it, cut it and hand it over — and it goes out on the client's account, under their brand, as their content. That is the job. It also means our own grid shows a fraction of the work, so the pieces our clients have published are collected in one place.

Why are there no prices on this page?
Because a price list would be wrong for almost everyone who read it. Two restaurants asking for "a reel" can be a two-hour job and a two-day job. A number you can rely on takes about a minute of conversation, and you get it the same day.
Is a cheaper videographer a false economy?
Not automatically. For a simple clip in good daylight, a competent shooter with a decent camera is fine. The difference shows in hard conditions — a dark restaurant, a reflective product, a subject who is uncomfortable on camera — and in whether the edit understands why a viewer keeps watching.
Do you charge for travel?
Travel within 40km of Mississauga is included, which covers most of the GTA. Past that a small distance charge applies and it is agreed before booking, never added afterwards.
What is included as standard?
Planning, filming, editing, music, colour grading and captions where the piece needs them, delivered ready to post, with two rounds of revisions.
How quickly do I get a quote?
Same day in most cases. Send what you want to shoot on WhatsApp and you will have a number, not a discovery call.
Tell us the three things.
How many, where, and when. You will have a real number back the same day.
